Refund Policy
Effective Date: January 27, 2026
1. Subscription and Credit-Based Billing
OrbitScraper provides digital API services through recurring subscriptions and prepaid usage credits. Subscription fees are billed in advance, and API credits are consumed based on successful API requests.
Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the active billing period unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Where checkout is processed by a merchant-of-record payment provider, that provider may appear on the charge descriptor, calculate applicable taxes, and issue invoices or receipts to the buyer.
2. When Refunds Are Eligible
Refunds may be issued in the following situations:
- Duplicate or accidental billing
- Billing errors caused by OrbitScraper
- Verified technical issues preventing access to the service
- Unused prepaid credits may be eligible for refund after review by our support team
Eligible refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the original charge or purchase.
3. When Refunds Are Not Eligible
- API credits that have already been consumed, in whole or in part
- Refund requests submitted after the applicable refund window
- Accounts suspended for violations of OrbitScraper terms or acceptable use policies
4. Billing Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact our support team so we can investigate and resolve the issue. We review all disputes in good faith.
For transactions processed by a merchant-of-record payment provider, refunds may also be handled according to that provider's policies and applicable consumer protection laws.
OrbitScraper will cooperate in good faith with the merchant-of-record provider when investigating billing issues or refund requests.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@orbitscraper.com with:
- Your account email address
- Invoice or transaction ID
- Date of charge
- Reason for the request
